The would-be Goossun International ArtLab
Previous use of the building
Built around 1965, the building was originally belonging to the local shipyard. The two lower floors were used for production, the third floor for offices. Since the shipyard stopped, the building has been empty. It has though on special occasions been used for different purposes, like "Hamlet Summer Plays", as a workshop etc. At the moment a boat builder is using the groundfloor as long as the building is empty.

Facilities and equipment
The building contains three floors. The lower floor has a big hall and a room overlooking part of the hall. It is ideal for performances. The first floor consists of a big hall - perfect for rehearsing and training - and some rooms. It has a maximum limit of 150 persons. The second floor consists of at least 25 small rooms (previous offices). This could be used for residential purposes. There is a maximum limit of 50 persons at the the 3rd floor. There are working electricity, water and heating at all floors. Besides, there are toilets and showers. The condition of the building is rather good, though painting etc. is needed.
